Ethel C. Adams

RENOVO - Ethel C. (Crandall) Adams, 85, a resident of S. Renovo died Monday evening, Oct., 5, 2015 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo where she resided the past four years. She was born November 8, 1929 at Portville, NY a daughter of Newton D. and Catharn A. (Cupp) Crandall. Ethel was married to John E. “BUCK” Adams who died in 1989. She retired as an elementary school teacher. She was a 1954 graduate of the former Mansfield State Teachers College. Ethel attended Portville and Renovo Presbyterian Churches. Surviving are two nieces Helen and Catherine. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct., 9, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo with the Rev. Captain Ken Klinefelter officiating. A public viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville, NY.
