Red Lion—Esther S. (Beechler) Smith, 87, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late George W. Smith. A Graveside Service will be 2 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Red Lion Cemetery, E. Gay Street, Red Lion. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born May 5, 1927 in Chillicothe, OH, she was the daughter of the late Louise Beechler. She served as Tax Collector for several years in Johnstown, Ohio. A talented seamstress and stain glass artist, she was also a member of the Manor Ladies Club. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Cheryl S. Migliarini of York and her step-son, Terry R. Selbert of New York City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
