Ernest L. Stoltzfus

YORK- Ernest "Ernie" L. Stoltzfus, 46, of York, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007. He was the loving husband of Joan "Joanie" A. (Williams) Stoltzfus. The couple celebrated their 6th anniversary on February 14, 2007. A Funeral Tribute service will be 10am Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Rev. John Trout officiating. A viewing will be 9-10am Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, Glen Rock. Ernie was born April 12, 1961 in Parkesburg, one son of Raymond King and Loretta Jane (Lehman) Stoltzfus. Ernie was a member with Parkesburg Mennonite Church and attended Trinity United Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School, Class of 79. Education was very important to Ernie and he worked very hard at it. He graduated from York Central Pennsylvania College, Suma Cum Laude, May 2007. Ernie was employed as a Senior Asst. Analyst with AAI Corp. in Cockeysville, MD. He played piano and liked looking at Classic Cars with his son. Ernie belonged to Gold's Gym and enjoyed jogging and running. In addition to his wife and parents, Ernie is survived by his beloved son, Aidan L. Stoltzfus of Lititz; two step daughters, Nicole A. and Lindsay A. Shoff of York; six brothers, Kenneth (Carol), Raymond (Norma), Nolan, Nelson, Willard (Beth), and Mark Stoltzfus; three sisters, Julia Mumma, Lorraine Stoltzfus, and Nancy (Eric) Fleming; six nieces; five nephews; the family cats, Lucky and Feather; and many numerous friends.
