Erma M. Ensor

Erma M. Ensor, of Seven Valleys, passed away on November 2, 2016 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of C. Franklin Ensor, with whom she recently celebrated her 66th wedding anniversary. Erma was born September 12, 1929 in Dover Township and was the daughter of the late Carrie Gerber Gunnet and the late Frank Gerber, and the stepdaughter of the late Archie Gunnet. She enjoyed Victorian-era décor, yard sales, the music and movies of Gene Autry, and pouring over magazines for decorating ideas. Her memory will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Cory Ensor (Donna) of Goldsboro, Kim Landis of Dallastown, and Cathy Ensor (Ty Dasher) of Seven Valleys. She also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Beverly Ensor of Spring Grove, and grandchildren Kyla Ensor, Matthew Ensor, Kelly Landis, Thomas Landis and Thompson Dasher. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Ensor, and a son-in-law, James Landis. At Erma's request, there will be no viewing. Following cremation, services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.
