Erma E. (Kinard) Grim

RED LION – Erma E. (Kinard) Grim, 93, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at York Hospital. She was the cherished love of the late David A. Grim.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles Street, Red Lion with her Pastor, The Rev. Debbie Mahady officiating. A visitation will be held from 11-12:00 Noon Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born July 19, 1931 in Red Lion, a daughter of the late Ammon L. and Sallie (Hildebrand) Kinard; she was a 1949 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Erma enjoyed birdwatching, doing crossword puzzles, reading, and cooking. More than anything, Erma loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.

Erma is survived by two sons, Kevin D. Grim and wife Daphne of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Eric A. Grim of Red Lion; two daughters, Lynette E. Grim of Red Lion and Kendra J. Darrah of Middletown; six grandchildren, Michelle Grim, Adam Grim, Sean Darrah and wife Melissa, Kristie Darrah, Dylan Grim, and Gretchen Grim; and two great grandchildren, Maxwell and Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, six siblings, and her son-in-law, William Darrah.
