YORK- Enos E. Sinclair, 84, died on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Manor Care Kingston Ct. He was the husband of Shirley J. (Smuck) Sinclair, to whom he was married for 63 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with his pastor, the Reverend David D. Tietje officiating. A viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on December 27, 1931 in Red Lion, he was a son of the late Melvin E. and Bessie (Ritz) Sinclair. Enos was a foreman for Stewart & Tate Construction until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Sinclair was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Red Lion. Enos served our country for two years in the U.S. Army. Mr. Sinclair enjoyed collecting antiques, arrow heads and hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Yellow Breeches Angler Society, York Rifle Range, PBCA and was a volunteer firefighter for the Red Lion Fire Department. Along with his wife, Shirley, Enos is survived by two sons, Brian Sinclair of Wrightsville and Darren Sinclair and wife, Angela of York; one daughter, Stacy Portko and husband, Steve of York Springs; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Kauffman and husband, Weldon of York and Delores Wilson and husband, Ronald of Manchester. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Ronald, Gerald, Carl, Walter and Durwood Sinclair; one sister, Phyllis Streavig; and his beloved dog, Suki. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 or a favorite charity of choice.
