Emma M. (Messinger) Luckenbaugh

SPRING GROVE- Emma M. (Messinger) Luckenbaugh, 89, died on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Dr., Hanover with Pastor Jerry Shoap officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on April 17, 1923 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Emma (Amspacher) Messinger. Emma was a Wood Finish Specialist for York Casket Co. Ms. Luckenbaugh was a member of Hanover First Church of God. Emma enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, listening to classic country music, and watching the Price is Right and Family Feud. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mr. Luckenbaugh is survived by three sons, Earle E. Luckenbaugh of Spring Grove, Jeffery S. Luckenbaugh and his wife, Marilyn of Dyersburg, TN and Micheal T. Luckenbaugh and his wife, Cheryl of Georgia; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Theresa, Bret, Leslie, Heather and Chenoa; one brother, Richard Messinger and his wife, Connie of Hanover; and one sister, Ruth Crabbs of Hanover; She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Messinger; and two sisters, Myrtle Hamilton and Catherine Noel.
