Emily R. (Basehore) Eppley

YORK- Emily R. (Basehore) Eppley, 98, of York, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Pleasant Acres. She was the wife of the late Walter S. Eppley. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Eppley was born in Harrisburg on January 27, 1909. She met her husband Walter and moved to Manchester to operate their farm and then retired to Florida until returning to York, for care with her family. She was an active contributor to Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Eppley leaves a step-son, Philip Eppley, Sr. in York, a step-grandson, Dr. Philip Eppley, II of York, three step-great grandchildren and two step-great, great grandchildren.
