Doylesburg—Emilie Irene Perry, born into a German family living in Forberg, Czechoslovakia to her mother, Maria (Thurner) and her father, Martin Faix. She passed away on July 22 2023 to be with Jesus her Lord and Savior.


Emilie survived the Novacky Concentration Camp during World War II and went to Germany after the war. She came to America in 1956 through a church family that sponsored war refugees. She worked hard all her life and retired from York Hospital.


Her favorite pass time was attending the Northeastern Senior Center with her “extended family”.


Emilie is survived by one daughter, Annabelle Ehrhart and her husband, Joe; one granddaughter, Melissa Darrin; one sister, Elisabeth Hagenlocher and one brother, Matthew Faix and their marriage partners. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Emilie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gaza and Hanns Faix.


Services are private at the convenience of family. Emilie was buried at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with her husband, Aaron Perry who was a Korean War Veteran.
