Elvin C. Neville

Elvin C. Neville, age 75, of Jersey Shore, went to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep Thursday Dec. 16, 2010. He was born in Tusseyville on Aug. 17, 1935, son of the late Charles and Minnie Spiker Neville. He worked for Jersey Shore Steel for many years until his retirement, was a member of the Mountain View Christian Missionary Alliance Church, loved spending time on his computer, and was a fervent Christian. On June 30, 1962, Elvin married the former Betty D. Embick who survives in Jersey Shore. Also surviving are his sons: Michael C. Neville and Allen B. Neville both of Lock Haven, a granddaughter: Michelle, brother: Larue Neville of State College and a special niece: Theo Coleman of Jersey Shore. He was preceded in death by his sister: Louis. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 with Pastor Robert Grimes officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Montgomery at the family's convenience.
