Elsie J. (Lauber) Morin

Elsie J. (Lauber) Morin, 96, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Morin and Walter P. Krupinski. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood, New Jersey. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 31, 1915 in West Hoboken, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Leopole and Johanna (Eckert) Lauber. She was employed as a Practical Nurse for several years in Oradell, New Jersey and later co-owned and operated a service station with her late husband, Joseph Morin in Ocala, FL. She was a member of the German Lutheran Church in Westwood, NJ and the Humane Society of the United States. Mrs. Morin is survived by one daughter, Arlene E. Dawson and her husband, Larry E. of Dover; four grandchildren, Keith Lightner, Karla Donovan, Kyle Owens and Kristina Koller; two step grandchildren, Vicky Backen and Jessie Parks and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Walter Krupinski and 6 brothers.
