Elmer R. Pearson

DALLASTOWN – Elmer R. Pearson, 72, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Christine D. (Corsi) Pearson to whom he was married for 45 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. John P. McCloskey, OFM Cap officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday and 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with a flag folding detail provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born September 26, 1941 in Boston, Allegheny Co., PA a son of the late John and Caroline (Stencil) Pearson, he retired from Zell Brothers, Inc. in Red Lion after 33 years of service. Elmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting vintage guns. He was a US Army veteran. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pearson is survived by four sisters in law, Rosella Corsi-Lord and husband Frederick of Pasadena, MD, Deborah Corsi-Jenkins and husband William of Fairfax, VA, Rita Chan of Washington, DC, and Anita Aureli of Oakton, VA; two nieces, Claire and Kaitlin Corsi; and mother in law, Francesca Corsi of Fairfax. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Pearson; and a sister, Joann Graham.
