Lewisberry—Elmer O. Brenneman, 93, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Holy Spirit Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Baker) Brenneman. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born August 11, 1919 in Fairview Township, he was a son of the late Oren W. and Hannah S. (Eichelberger) Brenneman. He was employed as a teacher and taught at numerous one room school houses throughout the area and later concluded his career with Redland School District. After his retirement, he worked at Grandview Golf Course in Dover as part of their grounds and maintenance department. A life member of the National Education Association, he was also a member of the Yellow Breeches Anglers and loved fishing, especially at Pinchot Lake. Mr. Brenneman is survived by close friends and caregivers, Albert and Virginia Dunn of Mechanicsburg. He was preceded in death by one sister.
