Ellen May Field

TROY- Ellen May Field, 94, of Martha Lloyd Community Services, Troy, Pa., passed away at her home on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007. She was born on Nov. 29, 1914, in New York City to the late Howard F. and Lillie May Heidelberg Field. Ellen enjoyed knitting, doing plastic canvas projects, shopping and going to church. She was an active member of the Troy United Methodist Church for many years, enjoying all church activities especially the rummage sales and mother/daughter banquets. She attended the Orchard View Senior Center at Martha Lloyd for many years. Ellen is survived by her cousins, Thomas and Lynn Pretzfeld of Miami, Fla., and her friends and family at Martha Lloyd. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, in the Orchard View Senior Center. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Martha Lloyd Fund, 190 W. Main St., Troy, Pa. 16947.
