Ella Rose Mcknight

YOE - Ella Rose McKnight, 73, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital. Ms. McKnight's wishes were for her funeral services and burial to be private. Born April 5, 1937 in Columbia, a daughter of the late William C. and Charlotte (Hogentogler) McKnight, she was a woodworker for a French provincial furniture manufacturer in Mountville and Dallastown. Ms. McKnight was an avid bowler who had won many trophies, loved traveling, fishing and camping, and enjoyed riding her Triumph motorcycles. Ella Rose lived life how she wanted and would often say "I've been everywhere, I've done everything. If I die tomorrow I need nothing, I want nothing, except maybe a Pepsi." Ms. McKnight is survived by a son, William C. and wife Christine Kriner of Wrightsville; two granddaughters, Kelly Robinson and Lori Deaner; three great grandchildren; and a brother, William McKnight of Delaware.
