Elizabeth R. (Richardson) Sheehan

RENOVO - Elizabeth R. (Richardson) Sheehan, 95, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. She was born August 22, 1918 in Renovo the daughter of Thomas and Elsie (Bennett) Richardson. Elizabeth worked for the F.B.I. until 1949. She was married to Eugene J. Sheehan a former F.B.I. agent and decorated W.W. II Veteran, who died in 1969. She was a graduate of Rider University where she received her BA. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Renovo. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and watching college basketball. Surviving are one son Michael Sheehan of Muncy and also a daughter Karen Ballance of Easton, MD. 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister Dorothy Donovan and also a long time companion Philip Marks preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 at Zion’s Lutheran Church, 11th and Huron Ave., Renovo, with the Rev. Dee Calhoun officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine Street, S. Renovo, PA 17764. Interment will be at North Bend Cemetery.
