Elizabeth A. Newman

YORK—Elizabeth A. (Weitkamp) Newman, 56, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at UPMC – Memorial Hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30PM, Thursday, February 06, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Allison R. Duke. A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30PM, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Born August 12, 1968 in York, she was the daughter of Barbara A. Kottmyer (Terry) of York and the late William E. Weitkamp (Shirley).

She was employed as a Finance Supervisor with Bank of America for the last seven years.

Elizabeth enjoyed spending time at home as well as, crafting, cooking and antiquing. She also loved trips to the beach and her dogs.

In addition to her mother, Elizabeth is also survived by two sons, Joseph R. Keller of York and Weston D. Keller of Hanover; two brothers, Brian E. Weitkamp and companion, Vicky of Gettysburg and Michael E. Weitkamp and companion, Lisa of Lewisberry; significant other, Stan Emsweiler and nieces and nephews.
