Elizabeth M. (Seyler) Stabley

RENOVO - Elizabeth M. “Betty” Stabley, age 71, of Farwell, died at the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport on Monday, January 16, 2012. She was born in Renovo on April 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Nathan M. and Velma (Fleisher) Seyler. Betty was a graduate of Renovo High School, was Methodist by faith, and worked as a nurse’s aide at Lock Haven Hospital and also the old Renovo Hospital. She was an avid supporter of the S.P.C.A., loved baking and solving puzzles, and was a “people” person who enjoyed socializing. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: Steven (Angela) Fantaski and Gary Fantaski both of Renovo and Richard (Amy) Fantaski of Mill Hall, daughters: Dawn Pagnotto of Renovo and Jackie (Phillip) Motter of Lock Haven and grandchildren: Brady, Johnathen, Steve, Danielle, Andrea, and Ricky. Also surviving are sisters: Carol Bower of Williamsport and Joan Rooney of Renovo and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Brittany Lee Fantaski in 1989 and a daughter: Ann Marie Fantaski in 2010. Graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery chapel on Saturday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Martha Sykes officiating. There will be no public calling hours.
