Elizabeth M. (Rudy) Ketterman

Elizabeth M. [Rudy] Ketterman, 81 of West York died Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late William H. Ketterman. Funeral services will be private with Rev. Thomas D. Bellis officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born July 23, 1925 in Danville, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Mable Rudy, she was a 1943 graduate of Danville High School. Mrs. Ketterman had worked at South Pine Nightwear and later retired from West York High School after 20 years of service. She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary at West York VFW Post 8951. Mrs. Ketterman is survived by a son, Harry H. and wife Brenda Markle of York; two grandsons, David and Suzy Markle of York and Brian Markle of York; two brothers, Joseph and Leonard Rudy both of Danville; and a sister, Emileeen Engleman of Milton, PA. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Weaver and Doris Rudy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ladies Auxillary, VFW Post 8951, 1800 Andrews St., York, PA 17404.
