Elizabeth C. (Coyle) Brunner

Dover- Elizabeth C. (Coyle) Brunner, 87, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard H. Brunner. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary July 7, 2007. A celebration of life service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Brunner was born March 27, 1920 in Weedsport, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Stumm) Coyle. She was a bookkeeper for various businesses throughout the state of New York. Mrs. Brunner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Va. She was a tutor for children with special needs and also volunteered in hospices in the Roanoke area. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brunner is also survived by her daughter, Marsha Nelson and husband T. E. Nelson of Towson, Md, great-niece, Amy Vincent and great-nephew, James VanGorden. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
