Elizabeth 'Betty' Rae (Wildasin) Wagner

WEST YORK BORO- Elizabeth “Betty” Rae (Wildasin) Wagner, 79, died Monday, December 5, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services North in York. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Wagner. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral chapel. The Reverend Brenda J. Ferree will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery. Mrs. Wagner was born in York on December 10, 1931, the daughter of the late J. Allen and Arlene R. (Henry) Wildasin. She retired from Danskin in York. Mrs. Wagner was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in York, a 1949 graduate of Glennville High School and a member of the Viking Athletic Association in York. Mrs. Wagner leaves a son, Richard “Rick” B. Wagner and his wife Martha E. Brown, MD of Tampa, FL; a grandson, R. Schyler Wagner; a sister, Faye A. Edsall of Stoverstown; a niece, Roxann Lentz and a nephew, Dana Edsall. She was preceded in death by her brother Barry A. Wildasin.
