Elizabeth A. (Newport) Walker

RED LION – Elizabeth A. (Newport) Walker, 73, passed away peacefully at home July 15, 2021. She was the loving wife of Glenn E. Walker, to whom she was married to for 32 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Born February 13, 1948 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Marie (Herman) Newport. After graduating from Eastern High School, Mrs. Walker worked as an upholster for many years at David Edwards Furniture Company until she retired in 2013. Mrs. Walker was an active member at Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion and participated there as much as she could. In her free time, Mrs. Walker enjoyed reading, word search games, and camping. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Walker is survived by a brother, Joe Newport of Red Lion; three sisters, Shirley M. Eisehart of York, Shelby J. Stone of Maryland, and Rosemary E.
