Elizabeth A. (Chronister) Sollberger

DOVER - Elizabeth Ann (Chronister) Sollberger, 87, entered into rest on January 21, 2021 at Rest Haven Nursing. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road York is in charge of arrangements. Born in York on April 1, 1933, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late I. Raymond and Edith (Thatcher) Chronister Sr.. She was a 1950 graduate of William Penn Sr. High School. Elizabeth loved to read, listen to music and spend time with her family. Ms. Sollberger was a legal secretary for a law firm in York. She also worked for Bears Department Store, Met-Ed, BAE Systems and Precision Components. Elizabeth is survived by two children; son Robert R. Sollberger, daughter Cathy R Zerbe; five grandchildren, Broc Zerbe, Amanda Jackson (Zerbe), Brad Zerbe, Jenna Sollberger, Olivia Sollberger; six great-grandchildren, Braelyn Zerbe, Zoey Jackson, Avery Jackson, Emmy Jackson, Bradley Zerbe and Bailey Zerbe. Ms. Sollberger is preceded in death by her brother I. Raymond Chronister Jr. The family would like to thank the Rest Haven-York staff for the wonderful care and friendship they provided.
