Elfreta R. (Munderson) Craker

Lewisberry--Elfreta R. (Manderson) Craker, 85, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence in Fairview Twp. She was the wife of George H. Craker, Jr., to whom she was married for 59 years. At Freta's request, there will be a private burial, Emmanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry, PA. Freta's pastor, Dave Hess, will accompany the family. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born October 30, 1932 in Montclair, NJ. Freta was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Walker) Manderson. A loving and devoted homemaker for her husband and family, Freta also enjoyed reading, trips to the beach, Bible study, and was an active member of Christ Community Church in Camp Hill. She graduated from Upsala College with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and later earned her Masters Degree from Rutger's University. In addition to her husband, Freta is also survived by three children, Sandy Craker Auxt, (Heath), Cathy Craker Irvin, (husband David), and George Craker III, (daughter-in-law Lynn Leggett Craker), and three grandchildren, Titus, Sage and Kyle. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus W. Manderson. Freta loved life, she loved people, and she loved Jesus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church, Mission Committee, 1201 Slate Hill Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011
