Eleanor M. Confair

MYRTLE BEACH, SC-Eleanor M. (Swank) Confair, 88 formerly of York, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was the wife of the late E. Lloyd Confair. The couple was married for 67 years upon Lloyd’s passing.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on April 18, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 12:30- 1:30 p.m. Pastor Peter Seiler will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.

Mrs. Confair was born in Williamsport on January 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Gordon M. and Esther M. (Mitstiffer) Swank. She retired from Annie Anne’s Pretzels, where she was a bakery manager in York and Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed her flowers, putting puzzles together, and crocheting.

Mrs. Confair leaves a son, Wade Confair and his wife Donna of Myrtle Beach; three daughters, Wanda Griffith of Swansea, SC, Wilma Payne and her husband Michael of Zephyerhills, FL, and LuAnn Coleman and her husband Ron of Gettysburg; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
