Eleanor L. (Kartzer) Kerstetter

MILTON - Eleanor L. (Kartzer) Kerstetter, 89, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Mifflinburg on September 07, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Dora Kartzer. On July 16, 1947 Eleanor married the late Carl V. Kerstetter, Sr. and they celebrated 55 years of marriage together until his death on May 31, 2004. Eleanor was a graduate of Milton High School. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton and she enjoyed artwork, particularly oils and watercolors. Eleanor worked and retired from H. Warshow & Sons of Milton as an office manager. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Carl V. Kerstetter, Jr. and Patricia Kobela of Mountain Top and four grandchildren; Carl V. Kerstetter, III, Michael S. Kerstetter, Brian E. Kerstetter and Matthew J. Kerstetter. In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by one brother Ralph and one sister; Lilian. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning Street, Milton, PA 17847. A gathering of friends and family will be held 9:00-10:00a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton, followed by a memorial service at 10:00a.m., with the Reverend Cheryl L. Berner officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, Milton. Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, PA 17847.
