Eleanor C. Hedgeland

RENOVO - Eleanor C. (Dachille) Paul Hedgeland, 88, of 1012 Central Ave., Farwell, died Wednesday morning December 28, 2016 at her home. She was born August 26, 1928 in Renovo a daughter of the late Frank and Philamenia (Russo) Dachille Parini. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Schools and later in life earned her G.E.D. and was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. Eleanor had worked at Sylvania in Mill Hall and also served on the Clinton County Election Board for Chapman Twp. She was a homemaker, enjoyed bowling on the Renovo Bowling Team at the old YMCA in Renovo. She is preceded in death by her first husband Blair “Peck” Paul who died May 2, 1971 and her second husband John Hedgeland who died July 19, 2005. She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Nelen of Farwell, Catherine Paul of Royersford, PA, Theresa (Clair) Goodling and Diane Paul both of Farwell. Two stepsons Donald (Francine) Hedgeland of New Freedom, PA and Randy (Julie) Hedgeland of Ellicott City, MD. Nine grandchildren, Ed Nelen, Nick Nelen, Melanie Shadley, Michelle Alexander, Adam Hedgeland, Kristin Hedgeland, Gabe Hedgeland and Sidney Hedgeland and Taylor Hedgeland also three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers Eugene (Maryann) Parini of Cheektowaga, NY and Salvatore (Mattie) Parini of Hornell, NY and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Salvatore Parini, two sisters Mary Vilello and Anna Keim a brother Anthony Dachille also two son-in-laws Ron Nelen and Dennis Wisneski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Donald Dusza officiating. Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, PA. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Bucktail Medical Center or St. Joseph Catholic Church Improvement Fund.
