Eleanor (Becker) Stine

YORK- Eleanor (Becker) Stine, 90, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of Roy C. Stine. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on February 16th. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Mrs. Stine was born in York on April 16, 1921, a daughter of the late William and Daisy (Ferree) Becker. She retired after over 40 years of service as an Office Manager for Vend, Inc., which later became Servomation. Mrs. Stine was a 1939 Graduate of York High School, and attended business school after graduation. She was a past member of Pilot Club in York and enjoyed playing tennis in her youth. Mrs. Stine leaves a niece, Doris Campbell Inners of York; a nephew, Martin Bupp, II of Wyomissing, and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
