Eleanor A. Clark

TROY, PA - Eleanor A. Clark, Age 92, of RR 2 Columbia Cross Roads, Springfield Township, PA passed away at home Wednesday, July 7, 2010 with her loving family at her side. Eleanor was born January 27, 1918 in Springfield Township daughter of the late Vern L. and Anna (Williams) Clark. She was a retired home health aid who worked privately for local families. Her memberships included the Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield Ladies Aid where she held the office of Secretary and the Troy Senior Citizens where she enjoyed playing in the "Kitchen Band". Eleanor cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to call from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Eleanor's funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Grover Hill Cemetery, Springfield Township, PA. Surviving are her sisters, Betty Brown of Troy, PA, Edna & Ken Guthrie of Springfield, PA, sister-in-law, Lois Clark of Springfield, PA, nieces and nephews, Valerie & Bob Hugg of Springfield, PA, Roger & Cathy Brown of Troy, PA, Aaron & Karen Guthrie of Sayre, PA, Karen & Joe Zug of West Chester, PA and Kathy & Earl Swain of Troy, PA, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Robert V. Clark on September 28, 2007 and brother-in-law, Willard Brown in 1992.
