Eldon L. Koch

Lewisburg - Eldon L. Koch, 78 of New Columbia peacefully entered into eternal rest at the home of his Son John on Friday, November 16, 2007. He was born November 27, 1928 in New Columbia the son of the late Rhoades J. & Erma V. (Showers) Koch. Eldon was a Supervisor for White Deer Twp., and was a rural mail carrier he also drove school bus for the Milton School District. He attended New Columbia U.M. Church. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled Veterans. He attended Milton schools. He Servid in the Army during WW II He was a member of the White Deer Twp., Volunteer Fire Co. and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Surviving are two sons Lash L. Koch of New Columbia and John D. (Belinda) Koch of Lewisburg. Four daughters Diana L. (Robert) Wesner, Darcy L. Koch, Ginger (Michael) Hoffman, Tina I.(Terry Hoffman) Koch all of New Columbia. Nine grandchildren Rebel, Emilea, Alysha, Michael, Shane, Brittany, Rena, Johnathon and Stephanie. Seven great grandchildren Camden, Brodey, Blake, Mason, Samantha, Catherine and Caige. One Brother: Leonard of New Columbia Three sisters Alma Harpster, Rhoda Earhart and Arlene Manning all of Milton Also surviving are a Sister-in-law Minnie Koch of New Columbia He was preceded in death by a son Timothy in 1990 and a grandson Ryan in 2006 and also two brothers Owen and Boyd. The funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
