Elaine Louise Dacheux

YORK – Elaine Louise (Bupp) Dacheux, 68, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her residence. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with Certified Life Celebrant Jessica Smith officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Born April 4, 1947 in York, she was a daughter of Preston and Margaret (Slenker) Bupp. Elaine retired from York County’s Juvenile Probation Center. She also worked as a teacher. Elaine had a big heart and was always willing to help others. Ms. Dacheux was a member of the Vikings A.A. and Shiloh American Legion Post #791. Elaine enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, gardening and flowers. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Danielle Accorsi and husband Nathan of Harrisburg; two granddaughters, Bryttany A. and Kiersten A. Duncker; one sister, Nancy Westphal and husband Gunther T. of York; and one niece, Tonya Beck and husband Bobby of York.
