Elaine B. Chattin

POTTSVILLE - Elaine B. Chattin, 62, of Pottsville, died Wednesday April 7, 2010 at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on July 16, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Irene Beach Chattin. She attended Pottsville High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. She was formerly employed by Wearever in Deer Lake. Elaine was a caregiver for many years to her parents, Paul and Irene. Surviving Elaine are: a brother, LaMar Chattin, of Pottsville; a sister, Nancy, wife of Raymond Buchinski, Pottsville; a niece, Jodie Dermo; a nephew, Jamie Buchinski; two great nephews, Rudy Dermo and Paul Buchinski; and a great niece, Lola Dermo. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. Family and friends may call from the funeral home on Monday morning from 9 until time of service. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The Reverend Darcy Reis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elaine's name to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
