Elaine A. (Steinbrenner) Daubert

MOUNTAIN TOP-Elaine Ann Daubert, 54 of Kestrel Road, Mountain Top, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at home, surrounded by her family. Born June 3, 1952, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Carl W. and Betty Raub Steinbrenner, Scranton. She was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and Wilkes University. Mrs. Daubert was a loving person who touched many young lives during her 24 years as a teacher at South Wilkes-Barre Playschool. She was a member of the former Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Wilkes-Barre, and was currently attending Bethesda Congregational Church, Edwardsville. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 32 years, Russell C. Daubert, III; sons, Russell Daubert, IV and his wife Carri, Mertztown, Mark Daubert and his wife Keri, Mountaintop; granddaughters, Reagan, Seanna and Alyssa; and brother, Carl J. "Butch" Steinbrenner, Sweet Valley. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc, 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Reverend Donald R. Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
