Eileen Sue Snyder

YORK – Eileen S. Snyder entered eternal rest on Friday March 1, 2024, at the age of 63 after a courageous battle fighting a debilitating illness.

Born July 22, 1960, a daughter of the late John E. and Jane E. (Stough) Snyder, she was a 1978 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Eileen previously worked for Fox News and most recently at Print-O-Stat, Inc. both in York, PA. Eileen loved traveling when she was able and especially spending time with her family.

Eileen is survived by her three siblings, Bradley E. Snyder of Gastonia, N.C., Brian E. and wife Beverly Snyder of Las Vegas, NV, and Karen L. Snyder and her significant other, Terry Knisely of Red Lion; and three nephews, Blake, Brandon, and Brent along with one niece Breanna Snyder.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Eileen and family wish donations would be made to an animal shelter of choice due to the undying love for her cat, Sophie.
