Eileen (Kasson) Wolfe

TROY - Eileen (Kasson) Wolfe, Age 92, of Berwick Turnpike, East Smithfield Township, PA passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Family and friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 PM Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Eileen’s funeral and committal service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 1 PM with Pastor Edwin Seeley of the Orbisonia United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, East Smithfield. Eileen was born February 20, 1921 in Johnson City, NY daughter of the late Ray and Pearl (Burdick) Kasson. She was a graduate of Ulster High School. She and the late E. Gerould Wolfe were married on October 14, 1941 and together operated their dairy farm in East Smithfield. Eileen was a dedicated farmer and homemaker. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attended the Truth Fellowship of Jesus Christ Church in Canton and was a former member of the East Smithfield Grange. Her other interests included gardening, sewing, fishing and traveling with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly (Alfred) Finnerty, Bonnie (Allan) Paris, Sheryl (Larry) Paris, Darlene (Clifford) Packard, Candise (Roger) Learn, grandchildren, Diana (Tim) Curran, Darla (Michael) Locke, Christopher (Nancy) Paris, Penny (Dana) Richter, April (Jeffrey) Fletcher, Justin (Amberleigh) Packard, Ashley (Matt) Dean, Brittany (Chad) Carlson, Charity (Lucas) Walker, Tricia Learn, Bryanna (Jared) Fencil, Susan Learn, Violet Learn, Roger Learn III, great-grandchildren, Brenna, Logan and Rylan Curran, Courtney, Erica and Abby Locke, Sophia and Colin Paris, Allyson, Christian and Rebekah Richter Avrielle, Lea, Allissa and Emma Fletcher, Lilah Carlson, Wrangell, Stryder, Archer and Tanada Walker, sisters and brother, Joyce Gerould of New Port Richey, FL, Gerald (Diane) Kasson of Ulster, PA, Joan (Dexter) Faunce of Ocean City, NJ, Edith (Roy) Short of Penn Yan, NY, sister-in-law, Susie Belle Kasson, brother-in-law, Edmund (Elrena) Wolfe of Milan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eileen was predeceased by her infant sister Beverly Kasson, husband E. Gerould Wolfe on April, 4, 2007, granddaughter, Darnelle Marie Packard on April 6, 2006, brothers, Clifford, Kenway and Donald Kasson, sister-in-law, Laura Mae Kasson.
