Effie Isedia (Brillhart) Patterson

YORK- Effie Isedia (Brillhart) Patterson, 94, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Reuben O. Patterson, who passed away in 1988. The couple had been married for over 51 years. A funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at First Assembly of God, 2270 Susquehanna Trail North, York, Pa 17404 with Pastor Danny Haas officiating. A viewing will be from 11-12:30 prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. Born on August 29, 1917 in York County, Effie was a daughter of the late Robert and Lillie (Hamme) Brillhart. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Patterson was a life member of First Assembly of God. She was also a member of Widow’s Indeed and volunteered at the Margaret E. Moul Home. Mrs. Patterson is survived by two sons, Richard Patterson and Ralph Patterson, both of York; five daughters, Loretta Herman and her husband, Robert “Butch” of Shiloh, Barbara Kerestegian and her husband, Jose’ Gonzales of York, Delores Imler and her husband, Bill of York, Nancy Lightner of York and Patricia Kline and her husband, Les of York; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
