Edwina L. Farrington

LOGANTON - Edwina L. "Winnie" Farrington, 58 of Long Run Road passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she was a patient for 11 days. She was born in Lock Haven on January 3, 1951 to Robert Farrington and Leatrice Joy Culvey. Winnie worked at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church. Winnie enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her Mother Leatrice Joy Alexander and her Step-Father Jasper Bruce Alexander of Williamsport. One Son Daniel H. Workman of Avis and one daughter Ashley J. (Michael T. Keller) Kuntz of Loganton. Three grandchildren Stephany, Rebecca and Anthony One Brother Charles (Glenda) Farrington of Montoursville, two sisters Shirley A. (Carlyle) Probst of Jersey Shore and Janet K. McCollin of Lock haven. She was preceded in death by her Father one son Gregory Workman and a very special Aunt Janet Culvey. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. Jozef Kovacik officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
