WINDSOR—Edwin D. Forrest, 84, passed away April 10, 2024 at his residence in Windsor Township. He was the husband of Deborah K. (Cunningham) Forrest to whom he was married for 25 years.


A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Mt. Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave, York with Military Honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A Celebration of Life Tribute will follow from 12:00PM – 4:00PM at York County Harley Davidson Owners Association, 1362 Manor Rd, Windsor. There will be a ride from Mt. Rose Cemetery to the Harley Davidson Owners Assoc., for anyone wanting to participate. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.


Born July 26, 1939 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Edwin B. Forrest Jr., and Evelyn M. (Funk) Forrest.


He was employed as a union machinist with Philadelphia Electric Company for 40 plus years until his retirement.


A member of the York Co. Harley Davidson Owners Assoc., he was also a member of the CCSC, Red Lion Legion and V.F.W., Victory Athletic Assoc, Liberty Club, Rooster Club, Hawks Gunning Club and 9th Ward Club. He proudly served in the United States Army, enjoyed hunting, camping, was an avid Harley enthusiast who loved to ride and could build or fix anything.


In addition to his wife, Mr. Forrest is also survived by two daughters, Tracy L. Lutz and her husband, Ty of Felton and Tamara L. Krzywulak and her husband, Ray of Felton; one step daughter, Tira L. Manganello and her husband, Robert of York; one step son, Timothy L. Ilgenfritz and his wife, Amanda of Wrightsville; eleven grandchildren, Dakota, Logan, Livia, Liam, Jarrett, Ryan, Justin, Luke, Carter, Calista and Coen; one great grandchild, Owen; two sisters, Carol Fasick and Sheryl Beeler and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Marilyn, Marlene and Jane.
