Edward P. Bookmyer

WRIGHTSVILLE- Edward P. Bookmyer, 60, of Lower Windsor Township passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Hess) Bookmyer. The couple celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on May 11, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Craley Cemetery 471 Abels Road, Wrightsville in Lower Windsor Township. Chaplain Don Schock will be officiating at the service. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the services. Mr. Bookmyer was born in York on September 20, 1960, the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Sanders) Bookmyer. He was currently working for Susquehanna Real Estate, where he has worked for over 15 years. Mr. Bookmyer was the chief engineer for the Craley Fire Department. He was a 1977 graduate of York Vo-Tech and a member of Craley Fish and Game Association. Along with his wife Patricia, Edward leaves a son, Sean E. Bookmyer, at home; a brother, Kenneth Bookmyer; five sisters, Cindy Spangler, Diane Foster, Linda Bookmyer, Janet Dieffenbach, and Joanne Bookmyer; as well as nieces and nephews and his pet dog, Hunter.
