Edward L. Smith

RED LION- Edward L. Smith, 71, of Windsor Township, formerly of Windsor, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Linda A. (Lohss) Smith. Services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Smith was born in York on November 30, 1939, a son of the late Homer and Anna (Klunk) Smith. He retired after 30 years at Campbell Chain Company in York where he was a Plater. Mr. Smith was an Artist, who especially enjoyed painting; he also enjoyed wildlife and music. He served in the US Army. Mr. Smith leaves a son Gregory S. Smith and his wife Linda of Red Lion; a daughter, Roxanne D. Adler of Bradenton, FL; two grandchildren, Aaron and Josh; and a brother Richard Smith of York. A sister, Lynn Smith preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd. York, PA 17404.
