Edward L. "Mouse" Behrensen

WINDSOR – Edward L. “Mouse” Behrensen, 70, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Sandra E. (Herman) Behrensen with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage on April 11th. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with both Rev. Larry Parlett and Rev. Dr. Charles Salisbury officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Monday and 9-10:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born October 3, 1950 in York, a son of June E. (Stiles) Behrensen of Wrightsville and the late Wayne L. Behrensen; he was a 1968 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Mr. Behrensen had retired from Caterpillar, Inc. Mouse loved cooking, watching cooking shows and researching recipes on YouTube. He also enjoyed camping with his wife and friends several times a year, going to Sunnyburn Produce Auction, hunting and bowling. Ed was a member of Bethany Church, Red Lion; Laurel Fire Co. #1 in Windsor and Dallastown American Legion. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Behrensen is survived by a son, Edward Eric Behrensen of Clayton, NC; two daughters, Larissa N. Behrensen of Windsor and Ivy L. Loop of York; four grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Davis of Red Lion, Barbara Marks of Wrightsville and Bonnie Behrensen of York; and many nieces and nephews.
