Edward L. 'Ed' Bogart

MILTON - Edward L. “Ed” Bogart, 59, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Milton Nursing and Rehab Center, Milton. He was born on June 18, 1955 in Lewisburg and was the son of Emeline Ina (Bartlett) Vanatta of Mifflinburg and the late Lee E. Bogart. Edward was a graduate of Warrior Run High School Class of 1974. He was an auto mechanic from 1975 – 1982 and had worked for Calps Arco and Neds, both in Milton. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Milton, the Moose Club and Elks Club both of Milton. He enjoyed four wheelers, attending auctions, plowing snow and going to drive in movies. In addition to his mother Emeline, Edward is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Robert W. and Marcy A. Bartlett of Mifflinburg, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Susan K. and Larry A. Sheets, Sr. of Milton and Jane A. and Pete E. Smith of New Columbia, a good friend; Urie Yoder, the Bryson family of Muncy along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Edward was preceded in death by one brother; Charles W. Bogart and grandfather; Clarence L. Bogart. A public viewing will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton PA 17847. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating. Cemetery: Graveside service
