Edward E. Bondura

POTTSVILLE - Edward E. Bondura, 77, of Pottsville, died Tuesday evening at the Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Edward was born in New Philadelphia on May 7, 1931. He was a 1949 graduate of Blythe Township High School. On November 7, 1959, he married Joan Pfluger Bondura, who survives. Edward owned a barbershop in Pottsville. He was a member of the St. Bernards Society. Edward was also a veteran of the Navy. In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by: three sons, Greg and his companion Jennifer Reilley, Pottsville, Eric and his wife Vivian, Wilmington, NC, and Michael and his wife Lori of Suwanee, GA; two granddaughters, Valerie and Arielle; two brothers, George Bondura, Port Carbon, and Peter Bondura, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be private, held at the convenience of the family. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, is handling the arrangements.
