Edward C. Druck

YORK- Edward C. Druck, 68, loving husband, father and grandfather died on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Cynthia G. (Senft) Druck to whom he was married for 42 years. Born on July 26, 1948 in York, he was a son of the late Charles and Perla (Lutz) Druck. Edward was a welder at Harley-Davidson until his retirement. Along with his wife, Cynthia, Edward is survived by two daughters, Samantha Hartman and husband, Jason of York and Sheri Cochran and husband, Shawn of Street, MD; loving grandfather of Emma and Gracie; two sisters, Vonnie Fromm and husband, Elmer of Red Lion and Lynne Taylor and husband, James of Martinsburg, WV; along with many nieces and nephews. Edward served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Ed was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church of Spry where he was property chairman, sang in the choir and helped with the food closet. Edward was a member of Golden Ages Chorus of Dallastown, Dallastown American Legion Post #605, Post 35 Veterans of the Vietnam War, Izaak Walton League and the NRA. Ed enjoyed camping, golfing, his 1956 T-bird, and woodworking, creating many beautiful pieces that his family will treasure forever; but what he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard at the start of the viewing. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church of Spry, 2401 S. Queen St., York, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. with Reverend Jim Polanzke officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Spry, 2385 S.
