Edna Romaine (Sprenkle) Young

YORK- Edna Romaine (Sprenkle) Young, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was the wife of the late W. Kenneth Young. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 9-10 a.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Rick Stuempfle will be officiating at the service. Burial will be St. Paul's (Wolf's) Union Cemetery. Mrs. Young was born in York on August 27, 1915, a daughter of the late G. Edward and Mabel (Joseph) Sprenkle. Mrs. Young was a member of Locust Grove United Church of Christ in York and was a graduate of West York High School. Mrs. Young leaves two sons, Brian Young and his wife Judy of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Jeff Young and his wife Jean of San Marcos, CA; 4 grandsons; and 7 great grandchildren.
