Edna M. Taylor

WELLSBORO, PA- Edna M. Taylor, 72, of the Martha Lloyd Community in Mansfield, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 9:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The service to celebrate Edna's life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, PA. Edna was born on July 13, 1936 in Columbia Crossroads, PA, daughter of the late Ivan and Mildred (Miller) Taylor. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and caring for her baby dolls. Eating popcorn and ice cream were some of Edna's favorite pastimes. She also liked attending the Martha Lloyd Senior Center in Mansfield, but more than anything loved being at home, sitting in her favorite chair or on the porch swing. Edna's family includes her sisters Beatrice A. Taylor of Forksville, PA and Clara B. Taylor of Blossburg, PA, and her brother Larry Taylor of Pine City, NY. Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Howard Taylor, and her sister Elsie Taylor.
