Edna M. Deardorff

LEWISBERRY – Edna M. (Lenker) Deardorff, 87, of Lewisberry, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Enola. She was the loving wife of the late, Harold E. Deardorff, Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry with Reverend James Winter officiating. The viewing from 9:30am - 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be held in Emanuel Cemetery. Born February 12, 1935 in Mechanicsburg, Edna was a daughter of the late George N. and Martha May (Rohland) Lenker. Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Edna enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking and cooking. Edna leaves behind a son, Harold E. Deardorff, Jr. and his wife Bessie of Lewisberry; two daughters, Debra K. Steigerwalt and her husband Blaine of Enola, and Roxanne L. Farrell of Lewisberry; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and three brothers, George Lenker, David Lenker, and Henry Lenker. In addition to her husband, Edna is preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha M. Wade; and a sister, Ruth Young. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd.
