Edna K. (Keener) Smuck

RED LION- Edna K. (Keener) Smuck, 94, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Lee Smuck. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Smuck was born on September 7, 2009 in Chanceford Twp, to the late George W. and Olive (McClure) Keener. She was a long time member at St. John's United Church of Christ. She was a loving grandmother and enjoyed crocheting, needle point, and knitting. She also loved animals, especially dogs. Mrs. Smuck is survived by a son, Darryl L. Smuck and his wife Janet of Red Lion; a daughter, Shirley J. Sinclair and her husband Enos of York; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry L. Smuck and a sister Eva Johnson. Memorial Contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail N, York, PA 17402.
