SEMINOLE, FL- Edna J. (Hoffman) Heiner, 90, formerly of York, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Tuskawilla Nursing & Rehab Center in Orlando, FL. She was the wife of the late Clair W. Heiner, who passed away in July of 1991. The couple had been married almost 50 years. A celebration of life service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Heiner was born on July 14, 1921 in York, the daughter of the late Edward and Sally J. (Harkey) Hoffman. Edna was a textile worker for Blue Bird Silk until her retirement in 1982. Mrs. Heiner was a member of Grace United Church of Christ while residing in York. Mrs. Heiner is survived by a son, David Heiner of Seminole, FL; a daughter, Sherry Ehrhart of Seminole, FL; and two grandsons, Brian Ehrhart of Titusville, FL and Jeremy Ehrhart of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Heiner. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Edna’s memory.
