WATSONTOWN - Edith L. “Edye” (Reibsome) Folk, 85, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was born on May 27, 1931 in Milton and was the daughter of the late Charles and Sara E. Reibsome. On July 10, 1950 Edith married the late Richard O. “Dick” Folk and they celebrated 51 years of marriage together until his death on October 13, 2001. Edith was a former member of Washington Presbyterian Church, Allenwood. She enjoyed going to the beach, cruising around in her convertible mustang and spending time with her two great grandsons. Edith was employed by Northumberland County as a van driver. She worked for 15 plus years and retired in 1992. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Lisa L. and Raymond G. Sellard, Jr., two grandchildren; Heather L. and Jason T. Ferguson of Prince Frederick, MD and Bruce R. and Shannon R. Sellard of Watsontown and two great grandsons; Hunter T. and Jackson T. Ferguson. In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill and Bud Reibsome, six sisters; Sara West, Stella Lupo, Susie Poeth, Florence Wolfe, Alfreda Morgan and Dolly Trate along with infant siblings. A public viewing will be held from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2017 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton followed by the funeral at 7:00p.m. with pastor Brad Peace of Hope Community Church, Muncy officiating. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
